Naked on the Inside (2007)

The blurb on my cable TV guide made this sound like it was about people with body dysmorphia or eating disorders, but this film was so much more than that. Six vastly different types of people from all over the world bared their souls (and skin) to talk about their lives.

This beautiful documentary truly caught me off guard especially since I am a little jaded being a large consumer of films. To hear these personal stories of diverse often painful human experiences punctuated with the truth of the subjects bodies skin was very powerful and thought provoking.

I was completely caught off guard when I watched this film. I missed the very beginning but was enthralled throughout the film.
