I'm a huge Wonderland fan and tried to read Lewis Carroll's Alice books when I was younger but didn't really understand them. I was raised on the Disney film and anything that didn't cohere strictly to the Disney version, I just had no time for at 7 years old.

I really don't know why there is so much hype about this book, I couldn't finish it at all, Alice is a brat, very spoilt and annoying and not a good role model for young girls.

This book was a gift to my 7-year-old from her older sister. A lot of what makes this book great went over her head.
