We met the author in Banff and enjoyed his book.

I loved this story about an American living in the Canadian Rockies. It's like looking through a telescope alternately from one end and then the other: We see what day-to-day life in Banff is like and the beauty of the area, and then we get to step back and learn the history, the geography and the geology of the area.

A well written humorous and informative book about the delightful town of Banff in the Canadian Rockies. The author joins a lovely Canadian woman who owns a B&B and gives us his astute observations on everyday life in this beautiful town.
